The popular pub closed in July 2024 but we expect strong interest which will allow new owners to reopen as soon as a sale can be completed.
The Bird in Hand is reported to have been an original cider house and has been in the same ownership for 20 years. Vickery Holman and PACT have just started the marketing process and are asking for all bids to be made by 27th September.
Michael Easton at Vickery Holman says ‘The Bird in Hand is a traditional village inn and there has been considerable interest since we started the marking process earlier this month. Whilst it is currently closed, we are looking to find new owners and to get the pub open as soon as possible. The pub has a traditional public bar and there is a restaurant to the rear, with a three bedroom flat over the business. To the rear there are a number of unused barns which may offer the opportunity for letting rooms if planning can be obtained. North Curry is a popular village, with an active and supportive local community.’
The Bird in Hand is available with a price guide of £345,000 and interested parties should contact Michael direct on 07527388045 or email him on [email protected]
