Jo High and Alan Treloar attended the latest AGM of The Commercial Property Network (CPN) this week along with 30 other participants from firms across the UK. Jo and Alan are both board members of PAI and involved in the promotion and strategy of this UK wide network of 29 individual firms of chartered surveyors – spread across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
For the first time the AGM was run as a conference call rather than being at the prestigious RAC Club on Pall Mall in London.
The last year’s activities were reviewed, the election of officers dealt with and other formal matters approved as well as a healthy conversation about the state of the property sector in these current unprecedented times. There was particular focus on business development by expanding the activities of working groups concerned with property management, investment and development and valuation.
The network allows firms with excellent regional coverage, and local expertise like Vickery Holman to provide their clients with national coverage. It means we can look at trends across the UK, such as the level of rent arrears from the last quarter day given the current pandemic.
