I have been with Vickery Holman since May 2022 and joined as a graduate surveyor in the Property Management team in Truro, covering the whole of Cornwall and parts of Devon from Penzance up to Plymouth. I’m part of the larger Property Management Team with staff and properties across our Plymouth, Exeter and Bristol offices.
My day-to-day work is very varied given the large area that the Property Management department covers. It includes communicating with Tenants and Landlords regarding lease disputes, raising rent demands, reconciling service charge accounts, as well as organising contractors to quote and complete works at the necessary properties.
The variety of instructions we receive at Vickery Holman is a great help as it has allowed me to get a wider range of experience on different types of properties in a variety of locations. At the moment, I am currently working with Restaurants, Gated Communities, Pubs as well as traditional Industrial Estates.
I have really enjoyed my time at Vickery Holman so far. They are a very supportive company from progressing my APC, supporting me with my work and helping me to grow my professional network. I also relocated to Cornwall for the role and my colleagues help me get involved in the local hockey and cricket clubs to help connections outside of work.
I am very much looking forward to developing my career with Vickery Holman.
