Having gained eight years of experience in the London property market, Jordan returned to Cornwall and joined Vickery Holman and the General Practice Surveying service in September 2019. Jordan now heads the business rates consultancy service across our four offices and is truly passionate about ensuring rateable values are fair and correct.
Jordan has experience in providing business rates advice in relation to a wide range of property types across Cornwall, the wider South West and further afield. She has had a great deal of success in reducing business rates liabilities for commercial property owners and occupiers by negotiating with the Valuation Office Agency via the Check, Challenge, Appeal process and can advise on empty property relief, securing small business rates relief, business rates mitigation during development works, splitting or merging assessments and material changes of circumstances. Jordan can also advise on matters relating to Council Tax liability, mitigation and challenging your Council Tax band.
Jordan joined the company as a graduate surveyor and has since gained a Master’s degree in Real Estate from the University College of Estate Management and has become a Member of the RICS, a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer. She is also an Honours Member of the Institute of Rating Revenues and Valuation. Jordan was promoted to Associate in July 2023.
Outside of work, Jordan enjoys long distance running, football, golf and spending time with friends and family.
